Description
This second volume of Géza Aczél's special interpretive dictionary also uses the rhythmic form and diction developed and polished in the autobiographical trilogy of the last decade - (back) gallop, (contra) gallop (farewell) gallop, the rhyming verse reaching from "wall to wall", which is broken up from the inside by bushy rhyming inner rhymes, creating an interesting tension with the constant fluctuation between the breathtaking free verse and the macama. The long lines form twelve-line verses, and the resulting articles are mostly autobiographical, thus becoming the details of a slowly decades-long, even monumental recollection of the past. Aczél Géza József Attila and Laurel Wreath Prize-winning poet was born in 1947 in Ajak. He graduated from the University of Debrecen (KLTE) with a degree in Hungarian-Russian, in 1975 he received his doctorate with a dissertation on the avant-garde era of Lajos Kassák. Between 1978 and 2015, he was the editor, deputy editor-in-chief and then editor-in-chief of the Great Plain magazine in Debrecen. In addition to his volumes of poetry, he published several volumes of study on the history of the Hungarian avant-garde, including a monograph by Kassák. His volumes of poetry at Jelenkor Publishing House: Mr. AG in X (1997), (window) (cook) (2003), (profession) twilight (2005), (semi) sweet handicap (2006), (back) gallop (2007), ( poem) tear (2008), (versus) gallop (2009), (his) scalpel (2010), (farewell) gallop (2012), (blue) lyre (2014)
