The worldview and perception of life of the four women are radically different. As if they weren't relatives, they were just drifting next to each other. It's like they don't even speak one language. We can get to know the thoughts of the characters through special dialogues. Everyone lives in the system of their own world and interprets everything accordingly. Conversations are playgrounds for (often intentional) misunderstandings. However, the basic condition of the game, no matter how absurd it is, is the company. The other gives him meaning. The playmates give each other meaning. A story that features either just a fish or just a dragon is not a story.
