Eccentric killers, one-legged people, a collapsed general, executed elephants, Al Capone's scars, a death pub, a executioner's loneliness, a bastard who was sold a tram, an Argentine dictator who lost a long-distance race, a Blonde, a Nazi couplet from a dead legionnaire. How not to tell (a la William S. Burroughs) and how is pop cannibal made? Stalin vs. John Wayne, the hunt of the King of Spain, the ego of Norman Mailer, the poses of Osama, the martyrdom of St. Sebastian, a superbly aiming band, two unfortunates who have been lynched, the first victim of the Abdomen and the names of the beast. Some of the themes are from the collection of a Basque author blessed with the knife-sharp irony of albacete and the empathy of a shark (not even familiar with the language of the PC, but very amusing, albeit somewhat morbid), from which the essence of what is called human evil is evident. The volume is decorated with drawings by José Guadalupe Posada (1852-1913), a famous Mexican public illustrator and cartoonist, whose work laid the foundations for the cult of skulls, now recorded as part of Mexican folklore.
