On January 20, 1945, with the signing of the armistice agreement in Moscow, Hungarian sovereignty passed into the hands of the members of the anti-Hitler alliance, and as in other "former enemy states", an Allied Control Commission was established in Hungary to ensure the control of the provisions of the armistice agreement. . This small monograph covers this component of the cooperation between the Allied Powers: the drafting of the armistice terms and the administration of the occupied territories in 1944-45. examines its experiences through the example of Hungary.
